I don't really know. I do know that I haven't been blogging. But, you knew that didn't you. Well you would have known it if you were still reading this blog, but you're probably not...because I haven't really posted anything at all in months. I'd like to say that this is going to get better...but I can't say that.
I've been focusing on cleaning up, cleaning out, decorating, de-cluttering, organizing and such. Well when I say "focusing" on, I probably mean that more in the "focus of my mind" rather than the "focus of my actions". What I've actually been doing is a very small amount of organizing, a lot of time having fun with Ruth and my friends, running, reading, and probably just wasting a lot of time.
So........Happy March! I do have a lot of pictures to post....another time ;)

Girls just want to have fun
It's true. Men want to know What do Women Want? They just want to have fun. Seriously. I am in some dire need to just relax, let go, and have some serious FUN!
Luckily we're going to go to Atlanta tomorrow, and meet James and Ruth and family. We're going to play for the day then ALL come back here. We always have such a blast with them, and I'm really excited! I am just praying the none of us get sick. Like the last time we were together on Thanksgiving. And the time before that when they watched our (sick) kids when we went on our Cruise. And the time before that. Let's just say, we have a bad luck streak going that I'm really hoping will be broken this weekend.
Do any of you know of anything really FUN we can do in Augusta this weekend?

Valentines Day!
I'm so excited for Valentines Day! I know a lot of people hate it, but somehow it's always ended being an awesome day for me. I'm just so lucky to be so loved! What's funny is that I have a streak of great Valentines Day's and AWFUL Halloweens. (shouldn't it be the other way around?) I'm a little nervous though, because Jerry has to work tomorrow, so I don't think it's going to end up being too epic, but at least I'm going to spend the evening with one of my best girl friends.
What are you doing or how are you going to celebrate the day of LOVE?

Book Review
by RAJIV CHANDRASEKARAN
The title of this book should have been "The politics and process of selecting the American team to go to Iraq during the occupation" There was really hardly anything in the book about life inside the Green Zone. Not that a book solely about "life" inside the Green Zone would have been very interesting, but the title is misleading, I'm just sayin'.
It was interesting to learn about what happened in the year and a half after Saddam was overthrown. It's really sad to see all the opportunities that were missed, but you know, hindsight is 20/20, so it's easy to say NOW what should have been done.
I really think that my friend Bridget wrote a much better review, here, if you're interested. And you should be because her blog is great and she is an amazing writer and always has very interesting posts.

Reading and Running...
that is pretty much all I've been doing lately. It's been a VERY relaxing January and it's been so nice, especially after all the craziness of the holidays. I just looked back and my last four posts have all been book reviews, he he he. Because when you're reading a good book all you want to do is read in your spare time, not blog.
I finally found a running partner. Well, not finally found, we have been friends for 2 years and both been running separately, we just finally got it together and started training for the Palmetto Half Marathon April 16th! Our first week of training went great. We did a 5k on Saturday to help a friend raise money to adopt a baby from China and it was SO fun!
It was COLD! Only 30 degrees at 10:00 a.m. Jerry came with the boys to support us, but I sent them home before the race began because it was just...too...COLD! We had a blast, though. It was a great trail race up and down hills and through the trees. We're definitely going to hit this trail again during our training.
Thanks Paige, you rock girl!!
