Katie got Mommed!

Katie got Mommed on Friday, March 14, 2008. Jonah came into the world at 3:11 p.m. and weighed in at a whopping 7 and 1/2 lbs and measured 19 inches. He is the perfect baby, meaning he does what babies do: He eats, sleeps, poops, pees and coos. He's awesome and Jerry, who got Dadded, couldn't be more proud. Jonah sports characteristics of both parents, thus adding to the perfect equation. You didn't know that Jerry + Katie = Perfect did you? Well, perfect is a relative term. Pictures coming soon!

where's the baby?

I just looked up at my baby ticker, and the baby is gone, just an empty bubble. How sad. Even the computer graphic has given up on me :)

So, it looks like I'm going to be induced tomorrow. I was really hoping that I could do this on my own, but I think it's time.

I love Daylight Savings!

No, that isn't a joke. I love when it's still light at 7:30/ 8:00 at night!!! My favorite is June when it remains light even later.

I am getting really excited to work on my yard this year. This is the first summer where I won't be working and may actually have some time to work on it. I have big plans for flowers :)

On another note, no, I still have not had the baby (now 5 days overdue), but surprisingly I'm still not very anxious about it. Maybe this baby is making me more laid back, which I think would be a good quality to have as I become a mother. We'll see.

Jerry and I have been watching LOST on DVD. We just finished season 2 and have really been wasting a lot of time, but it's been really fun. When we were dating and first married, we did the same thing with Alias and it brings back fun memories.
