I know that I shouldn't let things bother me that I have little or no control over. I give this advice to others ALL the time. I tell myself this ALL the time. So why why do I let some of these things bother me so much? And the real question is, what can I do to just let it go? What's totally insane is when things have to do with my kids. Are they at fault? Probably. BUT they are kids-I can't blame them. I just wish I knew how to not let some things really bother me and ruin my day.
I thought venting about it would help. But it really isn't.
Well, tomorrow's another day, right?

Frustrating day

Random thoughts
1. I read "The Wedding" by Nicholas Sparks. eh. 2 stars. I'm currently reading "Persuasian" by Jane Austen and it's good. But I think I like "Pride and Prejudice" better. We'll see if I feel the same when I'm done reading "Persuasion". I am only so interested as to which book is better because I've heard from more than 3 people that "Persuasion" is their favorite Jane Austen book.
2. Jonah's tonsils are still huge. He still hasn't seen the Ear, Nose, and throat Doctor (still one more week-ridiculous, no?) About 2 weeks ago they got even worse then before and were totally filling up his throat and covered in disguising pustules. He had a fever that hovered around 103 for 5 days and he wouldn't eat anything. The doctor finally gave him an oral steroid which helped shrink them down a bit (back to the previous large size) At least he's finally eating again.
However his and Oliver's ear infection STILL haven't cleared up, so it looks like they will both be getting tubes in their ears in addition to Jonah's tonsils being removed.
3. Jerry left on Sunday for the entire month of April, so that's pretty lame. However, compared to last summer (he was gone for 4 months and Oliver was only 5 months old when he left) I think it's going to be a breeze. Especially since my MOM is coming to visit me for 2 weeks!! I am so excited! I haven't seen her for 9 months.
4. Less than 4 weeks to my half marathon!! Oh, and we did change the race from a boring old one in Columbia to the Country Music Half Marathon in Nashville!!!
Sorry this post is so boring and my blog has become so boring. I will focus on making it awesome again, mmmm K? Any idea's?
