Frustrating day

I know that I shouldn't let things bother me that I have little or no control over. I give this advice to others ALL the time. I tell myself this ALL the time. So why why do I let some of these things bother me so much? And the real question is, what can I do to just let it go? What's totally insane is when things have to do with my kids. Are they at fault? Probably. BUT they are kids-I can't blame them. I just wish I knew how to not let some things really bother me and ruin my day.

I thought venting about it would help. But it really isn't.

Well, tomorrow's another day, right?

My little girl called the grandma of the birthday girl fat and it caused a big blow-out. The actual phrase she said was, "your grandma has a big butt!" which is actually observant and true. I didn't know how to react to this. She doesn't know social filters yet, but the grandma was offended and it made me look like I tell my girl to be mean or something. Kids are kids, and people can't judge them or expect them to be adults yet. I don't know if this is down the same lines...but I thought I would share my experience, if anything, to cheer you up :)
