Rest in Peace

Michael Jackson died today. I'm very sad about it, I was really looking forward to his comeback. I don't really know what to say, I'm not much of a writer.

I was a big fan-of his music. It's really sad how his life turned out, and obviously he made some very bad choices, but man could he rock.

I was born in 1983, the year Thriller became the best selling record of all time, and that is one heck of an album.

Let's all do a moonwalk for the King of Pop. I really do hope that he can rest in peace.

so hot

It's been so hot here. Even when it rains, it's still hot which is so crazy to me. Luckily we finally have air conditioning for the first time since we got married. UNLUCKILY it froze up this morning so it's been about 87 in the house all day (plus humidity)

Phew, it's going to be a long weekend, but I know I won't take the A/C for granted the rest of the summer.

On another note I don't remember who we told that we were coming to visit Utah in July, but we are no longer coming. Jerry was going to do his yearly "2 weeks" for the National Guard, but the training he was scheduled for was canceled. It MAY be rescheduled for the end of August but we have no idea. Anyway, hopefully we'll be able to make it out sometime before Thanksgiving when the new baby will come.
