Book Review: Redeeming Love

Redeeming LoveRedeeming Love by Francine Rivers

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

My second reading and I loved it just as much this time as I did the last time.
This was definitely 5 stars for me. This was an amazing story and meant so much to me. Even now, weeks later, I am still moved when I think about it. I can only think of one other book I have ever read that has had such a lasting effect on me. I don't know what else to say. Just read it. Especially if you are married, or have ever gone through a difficult change of heart. Or if you just want to read an amazing love story about an incredible man who never gave up on his wife. Ever, no matter what she did to him. He loved her so completely and so deeply. I would pick him over Mr. Darcy (from Pride and Prejudice) any day, and I do love Mr. Darcy. It had so many wonderful layers. I feel like it made me want to be closer to God, made me love my husband more, want to serve others more selflessly, and on and on. And especially be more accepting of others and become less judgmental.
